It's been a while since I've updated this...like I said, I wouldn't write in it much.  It's mainly just so I can comment on Jamie's Xanga page.

However.

Jamie's given up Xanga for Lent

Christine's given up Coffee

And I've given up... Chocolate.  You've got to be kidding me. I'm never gonna make it.  It's gonna be a long 40 days...

That aside, Jamie, Casey, and I are headed to Vegas on Friday, so this is prepping for the post-Vegas entry that I will have to make on their behalf.  Then again, what goes on in Vegas...

When I was younger, my mom would get on the phone in the evening and talk to my aunt for hours.  And I would wander out to the living room and lay down on the couch next to her and fall asleep while she talked on the phone.  But I would wonder what on earth she would talk to my aunt about for hours...

And now, I find myself doing that with Austa...talking on the phone for hours even though we did the same thing the conversation before.  Doesn't matter if its been three days or three weeks, we just pick right back up again.

Friendship: Being able to talk about everything and nothing.

(This is a completely random entry and will probably be the extent of a personal thought/issue.  Mainly I try to limit my entries to events just cause I'm generally pretty private with thoughts/issues.  But you knew that).

This entry is for Christine, with the sincere wish that she have something (hopefully) more entertaining to read than 2 chapters of IS.

Hmmmm...lemme see. What have I been doing?

Tuesday was hot. Oh jeez was it freaking hot.

Wednesday went on the cruise around the Sound with KPMG (for non-acctg majors, here's the nutshell: Big 4 Accounting firms are Pricewaterhouse Coopers, Deloitte and Touche, KPMG, and Ernst and Young aka all places I hope like me enough to offer me a job).  Good food, good fun.  Really relaxed atmosphere.  Kinda hard to compare to EY though cause it was such a different setting.

Friday took the Aprils, Francis, Taylor and Marta up the Needle - the offer is still open to the rest of you.  Ended up going to Bellevue and going to a fashion show at the BAM (Bellevue Art Museum).  Um, the fashion show included a dress made out of a tarp, Edward Scissorhands, and a werewolf.  Let's just say I appreciated...the uh, artistic side of it.  Hung out with the Aprils at their frat house.

Saturday went to Seafair.  Lived here all my life and I've never gone before.  Oh my god, the Blue Angels are freaking awesome - they're so cool.  Friday I even go to see all six of them do a fly by of the Needle.  You could pretty much see the pilots, they were so dang close.  But they were doing all these tricks like going up vertical and flying upside down and I can't even describe it (which explains why I'm doing such a bad job of it).  Kinda watched the hydros.  Hung out with Christine.

Sunday. Ate sushi off a train with Jamie.  Church. Target.  The last bite of Twix ice cream.

Erm...that's it.  Oh. like I said before. Got a cell phone.  Yep. Special.

Goodnight!

I am so glad I don't have any more recruiting events to go to this summer. Its a completely different mindset I gotta put myself in and I'm glad its OVER (until Fall).

Lalalalala.

Uh, thought I would update this thing, but have just discovered that I'm too grouchy to do it right now.  Don't know why I'm grouchy, don't expect it to last.  Will update later.

PS. Joined the darkside and got a cell phone.

Weekly update:

Thursday and Friday I spent at Ernst and Young at the EY Learning and Leadership (or was it Leadership and Learning) Conference.  Which wasn't really a conference.  But it was fun, and really interesting (not to mention freezing cold cause they turned the AC too high).  They told us what you actually DO on an audit, previously a great big black hole in my mind, which is good cause that's what i'm gonna hopefully do after I graduate.  They also did interview workshops, EY culture stuff and talked about Open Faces (eyebrows slightly raised makes you look a lot more friendly) and the difference between

1. business professional

2. business casual

3. inappropriate, we-are-going-to-send-you-home-to-change casual

And they took us to Elephant and Castle for lunch.

Friday night they took us to the M's game - its about fricking time I made it to a game where they actually won!  So we got to chat it up with some of the EYer's, who seemed really cool.

Saturday

Cleaned. More cleaning. Found some $ in the process (like 10 bucks).  Went to hang out with Christine.  Ate Chinese food.  Watched Oz...kinda wierd and scary, and an episode of the Sopranos - which I was not impressed by, the only thing that happened was the water tank exploded.

Sunday

Woke up, made my parents lunch while they were out for their midmorning walk.  All I had left to do was make the pasta.  Mom walks in - "we had breakfast with your cousins at McDonald's. Here's a Filet of Fish and some Dippin Dots for you."  So much for cooking for my parents.

Cleaned. I have six feet of floor space now.  Oooh, ahhh.

Went to church with Jamie. Went for Mexican food. Ran into Francis and 'Pril on the way there.  Ran into Teija afterwards.  Went to QFC. Came home.

Updated Xanga. Which brings us to now, when I'm going to bed.
